13 salon and beauty ad ideas from your website

Ideas for salon ads, spa ads, nail salon ads, skincare ads and med spa ads. Each one is built on your menu, your team and your own photos, and none of them promises a result.

How we turn a website into an ad
  1. The service menu in 15 seconds

Best for: Hair salons, blow-dry bars, nail salons

Three services from your menu with their prices and times, one per beat, then Book now.

Hook: "Blowout, 45 minutes. Here's the menu."

    Run it on
Stories and Reels, aimed at a few miles around the salon
    Your site needs
A services page with names, prices and appointment lengths.
  2. Your first visit

Best for: Wax centers, salons and spas with a new-client offer

The new-client offer as your site words it, what happens at the first appointment, and how to book it.

Hook: "New here? Your first visit has its own price."

    Run it on
Facebook feed and Stories, aimed at people nearby
    Your site needs
A first-visit offer with its terms on the site.
  3. Book tonight, in the chair tomorrow

Best for: Salons with online booking

The booking screen on a phone, a time picked, and the salon's door the next morning.

Hook: "Booked at 10 p.m. In the chair at 10 a.m."

    Run it on
Stories in the evening and TikTok
    Your site needs
An online booking link (Vagaro, Boulevard, Square, Fresha or your own).
  4. Meet the stylist

Best for: Salons where clients ask for someone by name

One stylist's photo, their specialty in the words of their bio, their work from your gallery and their booking link.

Hook: "Meet Ana. She does color, and only color."

    Run it on
    Reels and TikTok
    Your site needs
Team pages with photos and specialties, and gallery photos of their work.
  5. The event morning

Best for: Salons, makeup studios and blow-dry bars

Your wedding, prom or party package: what's included, how long it takes, and how far ahead to book.

Hook: "Wedding on Saturday? Book the morning now."

    Run it on
Reels and Facebook feed, months before wedding and prom season
    Your site needs
An events or bridal page with the packages.
  6. The membership

Best for: Blow-dry bars, wax centers, nail and lash studios

What the monthly membership or prepaid pack includes, its price and how it compares with paying each time, if your site does that math.

Hook: "One monthly price, a blowout every week."

    Run it on
Facebook feed and Stories, aimed at past clients
    Your site needs
A membership or package page with prices.
  7. Take it home

    Run it on
Reels and Facebook feed, aimed at clients
    Your site needs
A Shopify, WooCommerce or other store page with products and prices.
  8. This season's nail sets

Best for: Nail salons and nail artists

The season's designs from your gallery, one per beat, with the set price and the booking link.

Hook: "The fall sets are on the wall. Pick yours."

    Run it on
    TikTok and Reels
    Your site needs
A gallery of recent sets and a price for them.
  9. The skincare step

Best for: Skincare and beauty brands

One product: the bottle, how to use it in the brand's words, its key ingredients as the label lists them, and the price.

Hook: "The step most routines skip. This one."

    Run it on
    TikTok, Reels and Stories
    Your site needs
A product page with ingredients, directions and the price. No claims beyond what the page says.
  10. Start with a consultation

Best for: Med spas and aesthetic clinics

The treatment's name, what the consultation covers, who performs it as your site states, and the booking button. Nothing about outcomes.

Hook: "Questions about a treatment? Start with a consultation."

    Run it on
Facebook and Instagram, aimed at adults 18 and up
    Your site needs
A treatment page and a consultation booking link.
  11. The gift card

Best for: Spas, salons and wax centers

The gift card, what it covers, the amounts your site sells and the last day to order for the holiday.

Hook: "The gift that books itself."

    Run it on
Reels, Stories and Facebook feed in November and December
    Your site needs
A gift card page with amounts.
  12. The spa day

Best for: Day spas and hotel spas

The day package hour by hour (arrival, treatment, pool, tea) with the price and the booking link.

Hook: "Here's your Sunday, hour by hour."

    Run it on
    Reels and YouTube Shorts
    Your site needs
A spa day or package page with what's included and the price.
  13. Reviews, as clients wrote them

Best for: Any salon or spa with reviews on its site

Two short client reviews word for word, with the names as your site gives them, over photos of the room.

Hook: "Our clients said it better than we could."

    Run it on
Facebook feed and Google Business Profile
    Your site needs
    Client reviews on the site.

What ReelMade uses from a salon, spa or beauty website

  • Your service menu

Service names, prices and appointment lengths from your menu page, including add-ons and packages.

  • Your booking link

Book now buttons wherever they point (Vagaro, Boulevard, Square, Fresha or your own). The film ends there.

  • Your team

Stylist, artist and therapist photos and specialties from your team pages.

  • Your gallery

The photos of your work and your rooms on your site, and any you add. We read your website, not your Instagram.

  • Your products

Products and prices from a Shopify or WooCommerce store, with directions and ingredients as the product page lists them.

  • Offers and gift cards

First-visit prices, memberships, packs and gift card amounts with their terms and end dates.

Your own photos of real work, never generated faces, hair or skin. No before-and-after and no promised results: for skincare and med spas, the film says what the product or treatment is, as your site does, and nothing about what it will do to anyone.

Where to run salon and beauty ads

Every film is vertical 9:16 with words on screen, made in 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds. On Meta, ads for cosmetic procedures must be aimed at people 18 or older, so set that before a med spa ad goes live.

Salon, spa and beauty ad questions

Anything else? hello@reelmade.app

Every question

A single film is $9.99. Five are $39, which covers a service menu ad, a stylist spotlight and three seasonal ones, and monthly plans work out to as little as $3.96 a video. Ad spend on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok is set separately in their ad tools.

Yes, with limits. Meta says ads for cosmetic products, procedures and surgeries must be aimed at people at least 18 years old (Meta Transparency Center, checked October 28, 2026). A ReelMade med spa film names the treatment and the consultation, and makes no promise about results.

Save them and add them in the photo step: ReelMade reads your website, not your social accounts. If the site has only a few photos, it asks for yours before making the film.

We read the Book now buttons on your site wherever they point, and the film ends by telling people to tap that button. A video can't hold a link itself, so add the same booking link as the ad's button in Meta or TikTok, or in your bio.

Yes. ReelMade reads a Shopify or WooCommerce catalogue: product names, prices and photos, plus the ingredients and directions on each product page. The film says what the product is and how to use it, not what it will cure or change.

No. Before-and-after is regulated territory for beauty and aesthetics, so ReelMade leaves it out. Show the finished work instead: your gallery photos of real clients' hair, nails or brows, used with the permission you already have to show them on your site.

Yes. The voice-over speaks 94 languages, and each language is its own film. Make one in English and one in Spanish and aim each at its own audience.
